My advice? 

Don’t just settle for the first one that’s available. Reach out to a few celebrants and have a chat with them about your wedding plans, and find out a bit about who they are. In the biz, we call this a ‘vibe check’. You’ll quickly get a feel for whether your personalities click, and that’s so important when you're inviting someone to conduct your ceremony in front of the people who mean the most to you.

I’ll be honest—when my wife Kristy and I got married, I personally wasn’t too fussed about the ceremony. I just wanted to get to the party! But thankfully Kristy had other plans, and with the help of our incredible celebrant (shout out to Libby Briggs!), our 20-minute ceremony became the highlight of the weekend. This experience inspired me to do the same for others—to create ceremonies that leave lasting memories.

My point of difference?

I make this process simple (as it should be) and tailor my style directly to your personality type. You’ve got a lot to think about in the lead up to your big day. Let me manage the ceremony for you. You can be as hands on (or off) as you like while I manage everything from the marriage legals, ceremony rituals, personalized vows, and everything in between!

One thing I won’t do though is bring in those icky cheesy gimmicks, awkward stand-up comedy routines (I’m not here to steal any limelight), or stretch this ceremony out into being a series of boring readings and rituals that no one cares about. I’m here to let you two shine as stars of the show, and make the ceremony meaningful in whatever way that matters to you!
